No. Sanctum is a health sharing community organized under ACA Section 1501. Members share medical costs through a pooled fund. This means we can cover things traditional insurance won't, like peptide protocols, cannabis medicine, and psychedelic-assisted therapy.
Yes. The catastrophic reserve fund is specifically set aside for major events and is never touched for routine wellness claims. There is no cap on catastrophic coverage. Your $500 member commitment is the maximum you pay per event.
Your choice. Many members keep insurance for specific needs and use Sanctum for everything insurance won't cover. We never pressure you either way.
For catastrophic events only (ER, surgery, hospitalization), you contribute the first $500. All wellness visits, labs, and protocols have $0 deductibles.
